USA Folkstyle Nationals

Postby TriCity » Tue Mar 27, 2012 7:58 am

Good Luck to all the wrestlers competing in Iowa this weekend. As of now it looks like there are 26 entries from the state of Texas, and looks like the state is represented well. Nice to see a few of the younger kids getting out of state competition as well, should pay off in the future. Good Luck Boys

Pierce and Wilson get pins into the semifinals. Nickel gets a gutty 14-12 win to the semis. Three Texas kid in semis!

Anybody know why Jack Bass didn't wrestle?

I heard Bass sustained an injury of some type in practice, but our Texas kids showed up and wrestled really well. This tournament is one of the best organized tournaments we go to. And with the olympic qualifier going on at the same time, it was an awesome environment. Big perk. Top two juniors at each weight get free access to olympic training center in Colorado Springs.
