Here are the updated Region 3 rankings. Once I get the brackets I will add more information and some placing could change based on head to head results. There was a lot of great wrestling that took place and this tournament really shows who worked hard over the break. I will update as I get more information throughout the season.

Anna McAleavy Cy Creek at first may be a mistake. Have not seen her wrestle this year at any of the tournaments. How can she be 1st. She was top last year if i remember right.

She only missed one weekend and that was the Cy-Ridge Classic. She wrestled at the Gator Roll, Sam Houston Tournament and multiple duels. She is also a 3 time state placers 2010-2011 - 2nd place (138) , 2009-2010- 1st place, and 2008-2009 6th place. She has not lost a match all year. Until she gets beat she will remain 1st.

Hadn't seen her at 128. So wasn't sure if we missed her. She is a beast I've heard. Hadn't seen her so I thought there was a mistake. Did she compete at woodlands or byran invitational. Anyway thanks for the time you take in posting these rankings.

She did not compete at either of those tournaments. Bryan is at the very edge of the travel restrictions for the district and is also around finals so very few teams from CFISD attend. Also this weekend Cy Creek was hosting their own 5 team dual. The teams their included Cy Ridge, Klein, Cy Fair and Cy Lakes. I do not have the full results, but know McAleavy did not lose a match.

If anybody has any recommendation or updates on wrestlers and where they should be ranked in Region 3 please let me know. I cannot keep up with everything since not all the results are being posted.

Does anyone know Lori Mitchell's record at 138 is? I know that her and Wilkins have not met yet this season. Wilkins won 1st in her bracket at Doc Hess. She lost the superfinal. Her record is now 16-4. Was just wondering how Mitchell is staying on top.

The reason Mitchell is still first is because she won the Cy Ridge Tournament. and Wilkins took 3rd. This was prior to Jacobson dropping to 128. Jacobson beat Wilkins and then lost to Mitchell. Since they have not wrestled I must rely on common opponent results and this is why the rankings are this way. If all goes the way it should they should see each other at the CFISD tournament, then we will know who belongs at number 1.

Jbleiler, your on point with the rankings with the info you have. Good job. Villarreal beats jacobson at doc hes @128 for championship. One of the most tech matches was goen vs alva@ 128. Was an amazing match. Goen wins by 2 . Couldn't take your eyes off match. Alva is a beast. As for Villarreal tough as nails for 1 year.
