Arlington, TX.—University of Texas at Arlington Head Wrestling Coach Jeff McCall has announced that Aeron Hill has joined the Mavs staff as an assistant coach. Hill comes to UT-Arlington after an outstanding college career.
“I am very pleased to be able to add someone of Aeron’s caliber to our coaching staff,” McCall commented. “He is going to make an impact right away with our athletes. He is a very driven person and is looking forward to working with our guys.”
Hill was a 2009 Letterman for the Lopers, and also two year starter for the Newman Jets prior to transferring to UNK. While competing for the Jets, Hill was a 2X National Qualifier and a team leader on and off the mat.
Hill assisted with Team Texas, 2006-2008. He also was part of the coaching staff of Team Kansas - Middle School in 2007 and worked UNK wrestling camp 2009.
He graduated with a degree in History from the University of Nebraska -Kearney in April 2010.
