The University of Virginia (in Charlottesville) recently announced its 2010-2011 schedule, in which they're hosting the ACC championships a couple of weeks before competing in the NCAA's up @ Philadelphia, Pennsylvania:

Wouldn't it be neat to have them wrestle Penn State, Oklahoma and Cornell again? Perhaps the NCAA qualifying criteria disincentivize such an endeavor? Maybe if they had some courageous Texans on their line-up to demand such a bold scheduling move...

Either way, it's intriguing how our sport is fully funded @ U.Va. That surely didn't hurt when U.Va. recently placed an all-time record high #3 nationally in overall athletics achievement:

Other Texans have wrestled recently in the ACC at schools such as Duke & UNC. Are Texans contacting U.Va. yet? Scholarships are available, and the academic ranking in U.S. News helps with subsequent job searches, as well...
