Team Texas - Elementary School Duals Results

Congratulations to Braeden Redlin of Allen & Josh Myers of New Braunfels for earning All-American Status at the Heartland USA Elementary School National Duals this past weekend.

Josh Myers finished the weekend with 7 wins and 1 loss.

Breaden Redlin went undefeated for the weekend with a total of 8 wins. He also tallied the most pins (7) in the least amount of time of all participants in the tournament. For his total effort, he was also recognized as the team MVP.

The Blue Team was able to battle to a second place finish in Sunday's Bronze division despite giving up four forfeits.

Jordan Strmiska of Vista Ridge was selected as the Team MVP for the Texas Red Team.

Going to the duals was an amazing experience! All the boys that attended seemed to have a blast, and gained valuable experience and mat time with some the country's best wrestlers! I highly encourage all to make plans to attend next year! Christopher has not stopped talking about it! He really bonded with all the other boys, and it creates an amazing sense of unity that I'm sure will carry on next season when these boys see each other again!

A great big thank you to Jake Hart for all the hard work, dedication and time he put into making this an amazing experience for all the kids! Jake made everything go so smoothly, it was awesome! Mark Smith, Gerard Roth, and all the other coaches, thank you for all you did, it was a pleasure coaching beside you!
