Nice one, Frog!!!

I am all in favor of video review to make sure the correct call is made!!!

And you are right, when USA hosts events on the National level and all the international matches ARE video reviewable... but at the state level, this is currently not available. I say currently, because it WOULD be nice to have the clocks and all synched... A proposal has been sent to UIL to move to an online tournament - trackwrestling - where that brackets are online - the boutsheets are computerized - the computer automatically advances the winners and losers to their next bouts and it is all viewable through the internet!!

The next logical step would be if the NFHS approved video review for us to implement it.. Currently this is not an option.

I posed the questions to the forum to consider before they get all fired up about doing this without fully understanding what is involved.

Hate to contradict you, 'Frog, but....I seem to recall a TX wrestler of recent vintage who won a State title @ 160...then signed a college scholarship for track....
(just sayin' that it's possible to do both, not making any comparisons)
Good luck to MiniFrog! ;-)

i feel like every allen Adult is against everyone else... i dont think people started jumping on the band wagon because you guys are winning. what allen is doing is great for texas wrestling. it just seems allen hates on everyone else quite a bit. not the wrestlers though the parents etc.. i dont get it

Greg, I am an Allen parent and couldn't disagree with you more. Allen parents are proud of the hard work our kids put into the sport. There's nothing wrong with that. We all (or most all) appreciate good wrestling and applaud for the opponents when our wrestlers lose. We don't get on this forum and brag about our kids' accomplishments. There are a bunch of trollers on here that like to stir things up, but how do you link them to being Allen parents? Your comment about "Allen hates on everyone else quite a bit" is a little bit of an exaggeration. Don't you think?

i agree. the vast majority of the allen fans are silent there are a few vocal ones on here that like to stir things up which happens on forums from the comments that are made - allen fans for sure, but the other 100 allen fans dont comment on here there are a few others that only post positive comments
If you want to be the best, outwork the rest!
