Important Junior Duals Update for Team Tx Women!

As many of you know, the Junior Duals for the women were moved from Fargo to Oklahoma City. Last year, the women had a total of 15 dual teams who competed in Fargo for the national dual team title which was awesome. Unfortunately, with the change this year only a couple of states signed up to send separate women's teams to the Junior Duals.

To travel to the event in Oklahoma City this year would cost some girls $300-$500 for travel, lodging, food and their gear package. With only one team confirmed as of today, we have opted to bow out graciously and NOT COMPETE at the JUNIOR DUALS EVENT THIS YEAR. This decision will allow our national team members (women) to focus on fundraising and preparing for the individual competition in Fargo. Any money paid towards the duals will be applied towards the Fargo trip instead. Hopefully every girl originally planning to wrestle at the Junior Duals will be able to make the trip to Fargo and represent Texas!

If for some reason you absolutely cannot make the Fargo trip and would still like to purchase the gear package, please contact me to discuss the options.
