This is obviously a work in progress and is at last year's weights.

All weights are up now.

I like the shell used. Love the ability to list top 6 and then others beneath with room for notes. Definitely a step up from the straight forum system of the past that I was using.

Good luck with the rankings.

As you may have noticed, we are trying something new in October, and if it works OK we will continue it. We will have a survey or poll type of Ranking just to see what interest we can generate.

There will be two surveys, one will be public with anyone that wants to having a vote. It may just turn into a popularity contest, but may be fun to see the results, and hopefully posters can also shed some light on new weights for some.

The other one will be Texas Coaches Only with password protection (and anonymous) and if it works well will be the "Official" rankings. Now this doesn't rule out ITW having a central Ranking Guru, but we don't have the right volunteer for that position yet (and may not ever). It is a hard thankless job with millions of keystrokes, reading countless results, talking to dozens of coaches, hundreds of proud Dads, and getting chewed out for wrong names, and the pay is zero. If I described your dream volunteer job, just email me.

We still have to get the skeleton up that will have the general right weights for the top 10-15 wrestlers per wt, and then we will go with results. We will work to get the skeleton up just after certification, and then see what happens. The system will be flexible and will adjust for real world win/loss, but sooner or later it will come down to "I think" types of statements, and that is always unavoidable, and sometimes even fun.

Certification is just a few days away.

I like the poll...It will be interesting to see if it becomes a popularity contest vs. a ranking...But that is why you also have the coaches poll...Should be fun to compare the two polls...Have any of the coaches logged on to ranking poll yet? When are the rest of the weights going to be posted?

That volunteer position is open. Until it is filled I will be trying to do the posting.
I am thinking the weights will all be posted after certification. It will take a lot of feedback to know where to list everyone
