Tournaments Already Being Scheduled

OK. Well, we know the folkstyle season is right around the corner when the big tournaments start to be scheduled.

Put these on your calendar:

Amarillo Nationals October 29, 30, 2010
Cliff Keen Kickoff November 19, 20, 2010
USJOC December 31-January 2, 2011 (includes a duals format tourney on Sunday)
Cotton Bowl January 7-8, 2011
Lone Star Duals (with a youth tourney as well) January 15, 2011
Tulsa Nationals January 21-22, 2011

There are also a couple of Okie local tournies scheduled early in October this year--one near Tulsa, and Altus. Go to www.okseries.com for more info.

Ya--I couldn't find it on-line, but normally you weigh in Thanksgiving a.m., and then pig out all day, and then wrestle Fri. Sat. Good tourney--more Texans should go to it--Junior High division is 6-9 grade, HS is 9-12. There have been double entries slip through (I know there were last year), but they are discouraged.

Hey where are you finding this info. I have tried to find some info on the new season and have not been able to. My son wrestled this summer with his high school coach ( in 3 years ) and can not wait to got started. He is doing a three day camp this week.

Panhandle Nationals I think will be around Thanksgiving, not sure when though.

Depending what region you are in, the North (Dallas area) region has a regional meeting Sunday August 1 ay 2 p.m. in Southlake--look for details on that.
